I giochi cominciano a farsi duri per la nostra e vostra Finishpedia. Oggi vi mostriamo un frost. Così finalmente vediamo tutte assieme che faccia hanno questi benedetti smalti!




My choice is China Glaze Coral Star, from a very old collection (2010, maybe?). In these pictures you could see the frost effect: a very fine shimmer with obvious brushstrokes and without pearl-y effect. Coral Star dries very fast and its formula it's perfect. Sadly, because frost polishes have a little bit of metallic into their formula, they chip the same day you put it on your nails. Don't be silly like me and use a top coat!IRL this is a lovely pink toned coral (yes, I said nice speaking about a pink), but my camera hates corals - Heaven knows why - and turned it into an orange juice shade. Il frost è il figlio dello shimmer e del perlato. Si riconosce perché l'effetto è più 'freddo' e meno madreperlaceo. Spesso lascia delle pennellate evidenti e tende a sbeccarsi già dal primo giorno.
La mia scelta è caduta su China Glaze Coral Star, uno smalto rosa corallo - che voi vedete color arancia rossa perché la mia fotocamera ODIA i toni del corallo - che appartiene a una qualche vecchia collezione (2010, forse?). A dispetto delle mie foto, è un colore molto bello, dotato di una spiccata eprsonalità e pur essendo rosa mi piace da pazzi!
Asciuga velocemente e bastano due passate per coprire l'unghia come dico io. Purtroppo s'è sbeccato poco dopo averlo messo e mi toccherà sistemarlo in qualche modo.
Sarò strana, ma a me l'effetto frost piace. Non per tutte le sfumature capiamoci, ma con colori particolari - come questo qui - si ottiene una marcia in più. Certo, c'è la rogna delle pennellate evidenti, ma pazienza.
