I've shortened my claws because a bad, bad, bad break. I've managed some post with my long nails, so you could find both lenght on the blog for the next few days.
Today I have another P2 nail polishes to shoare with you. It's a mauve crème called Young Miss from the Volume Gloss. Let's take a look.

Essì, ho accorciato ancora una volta gli artigli, a causa di un brutta, brutta, brutta rottura. Ho già programmato alcuni post con le unghie lunghe, quindi per qualche periodo troverete entrambe le lunghezze sul blog. Ditemi quale pensiate mi stia meglio, mi raccomando!!
Oggi vi mostro un altro smalto della P2, una lacca color malva della Volume Gloss, Young Miss. Diamo un'occhiata?

A couple of week ago I've received an e-mail from P2 Cosmetic and you could easily imagine how happy I was when I got asked to try P2 Cosmetics nails products. I accepted very gladly, because I like P2 Cosmetics nail polishes since my trip in Berlin, four years ago. Today I would like to introduce to you the first one product that P2 Cosmetics has sent to me, a nice crimson crème from Color Victim line called Can't Get Enough.

Un paio di settimane fa ho ricevuto un'e-mail dalla P2 Cosmetics, nella quale la loro gentile pr mi chiedeva se fossi interessata a recensire alcuni prodotti. Come si può intuire, ho accettato con molto piacere. Non è un mistero che mi piacciano i prodotti della P2 Cosmetics, una piacevole scoperta fatta durante un viaggio a Berlino quattro anni fa. Oggi apriamo le danze con un bel rosso deciso che fa parte della linea Color Victim, Can't Get Enough.

I've been busy in the last two days. I didn't have a big job to accomplish or something like this; I just have had too many things to do in only 48 hours. It's a very hot summer and we can barely sleep, and we must switch off the air-conditioning from time to time. This shall be another sultry night here in Rome. I love summer but I just would want a break from the extreme heat.

I like buying nail polishes during my trip around the world. Yup, instead boule-de-neige or typical (and cheap) souvenir you could find everywhere,  I purchased them!
I discovered P2 Cosmetics when I visited Berlin, in May 2011 (I love dm and Ihr Platz!). I purchased a pair of bottles, this is the first one I want to show you. It's Lust and it comes from a 2011 spring LE called into Lace.

Che tipo di souvenir comprerà mai una smaltara? Boccette di smalto, ovvio, ché alcune marche non arrivano mica qui da noi. Tipo la P2 Cosmetics, sbarcata alla fine dello scorso anno, ok; ma nel lontano 2011, quando ho visitato Berlino, se volevi una delle loro boccette dovevi recarti da dm o Ihr Platz (drugstore adorabili), da cui ho portato a casa questo smaltino. Lui è Lace della collezione into Lace della primavera 2011.

That thing's happened.
Yesterday I've gone to my hairdresser to shorten my hair (I've a huge and massive multitude of fine hair , FIY) and to fix my color. The color went palest than usual («It's summer, afterall!», she tweeted) and my layered hairdo is not what I's looking for. Today I'm pretty pissed off, 'cause I have a huge dry twig instead my hair. Let's talking about nail polish, 'cause I need to cheer up my mood.

È successa quella cosa.
Ieri sono andata dal parrucchiere per accorciare i capelli (ho una marea di capelli finissimi) e sistemare il colore. Il colore è uscito fuori più chiaro del solito («È estate, dopotutto!», ha trillato lei) e il mio taglio iperscalato va benissimo per Asgard e non per l'umidissima Roma. Sono nera. Ho una palla di sterpi al posto dei capelli. Meglio parlare di smalti luccicanti per risollevare un morale ai minimi storici.

My first day at swimming pool (after twelve years!) has been very though and after shower I wasn't sure to be an human being, but a mythical creature half woman half jelly (or something like this). Today my body is paining for acid lattic throught my muscles and I hope I'll be fine after few lessons. Cross fingers for me, okay?
Today I want to share with you one the colours I've used for the nail art I've shown you yesterday. I'm talking about P2 Cosmetics Volume Gloss #240 Royal Beauty.

La prima lezione di sopravvivenza in piscina l'abbiamo archiviata. ieri sera ero talmente cotta da non essere più assimilabile ad un essere umano, ma a qualche bestia mitologica metà donna e metà medusa. Oggi il mio corpo mi sta presentando il conto, facendo dolere parti di cui ignoravo l'esistenza, ma spero andrà meglio tra qualche lezione. Incrociate le dita per me!!
Oggi vi mostro uno dei colori che ho usato per la gradient di ieri, P2 Cosmetics Volume Gloss #240 Royal Beauty

P2 Cosmetics Volume Gloss #240 Royal Beauty is a dark indigo crelly. I say it's an indigo and not a blue or blurple because it appears a blue-toned purple into the bottle, but shifts to dark marine blue once you put it over your nails. It's a shade between Imperial Blue and Persian blue.
Formula is pretty good (no stinks, no floating, self-levelling) and application has been so easy. It dries in a raisonable time and is easy to use for gradient and such, 'cause its finish. It's very shin-y and bright. I didn't use any top coat at all and in the photos above you should see me as a ghost over my own nails!
Scary, it isn't?

P2 Cosmetics Volume Gloss #240 Royal Beauty è un crelly indaco scuro. In boccetta è un bel viola a base blu, ma quando lo stendete si rivela essere una via di mezzo tra il Blu Imperiale e il Blu di Persia. Indaco, quindi.

La formula è buona (non puzza, non inonda le cuticole, autolivellante) e l'applicazione è stata a prova d'errore. Asciuga in tempi ragionevoli ed è ottimo da usare per le gradient grazie alla fluidità del suo finish. È molto lucido e qui lo vedete dopo due passate senza top coat. Riuscite a vedere il riflesso della sottoscritta nella foto qui sopra? Sembro un fantasma!!

Good morning, my lovely mermaids!
Today I'm super excited because I'll joining the swimming pool! I swam for few years, and now it's time to start again with good habits! This morning while I was sipping my first coffee, I found myself staring at my backpack (with my towelling robe, my swimming suit, my swim cap, my rubber slippers etc), like if I was Nanase Haruka from Free! I'm really looking forward for this evening!

Sto friggendo all'idea che stasera, dopo uno iato di tredici anni, finalmente ricomincerò ad andare in piscina! Ho nuotato per qualche anno, ma poi ho smesso perché non riuscivo a conciliare gli orari della piscina con il lavoro. Stamattina mi son scoperta a sorseggiare il caffè fissando bramosa lo zaino pronto. Mi sono sentita mooolto affine ad Haruka Nanase di Free! e ciò mi inquieta assai...

Today I want to share with you the nail polish I have used as base for my last Birth Flowers' nail art, Roses vs Peonies (you don't have missed it, don't you?). It's a lovely coral pink from an austrian brand that finally we could find in selected OVS stores here in Italy. I'm talking about P2, and the finish I've chosen is called "Leather Matte".

Continua il mio periodo rosa, come vi avevo accennato nello scorso post della Birth Flowers, Roses vs Peonies (non ve lo siete perso, vero?), e oggi vi mostro lo smalto che ho usato come base, un textured a metà di una marca che è finalmente sbarcata anche in Italia, P2.

As I said when I blogged over textured finish, every brand has its own way to call textured nail polishes: textured, sands, sugar, pixie and so on.
At P2 they call this finish Leather Matte, because it's not so gritty and bumpy as others (China Glaze, anyone?) but it isn't absolutely smooth as its others colleagues.
It's very difficult stamping over a textured, but not in this case. I love this nice guy, 'cause I think it could attract also people that dislike textured.

Let's talking about Rock Steady (and where is Be-Bop?!)!
It's a nice shade of coral pink with an amazing formula and an old school brush into a 10 ml square bottle. This shape is very easy to hold when you take pictures, but I don't think they have made it for this purpose.

Anyway, the formula is a little bit fluid than others textured (I'm thinking about KIKO's and Barry M's) but it doesn't run over your cuticles. Dries faster than a crème but slowler than a textured. It's an everlasting love polish, so you could use it for four days at least without tipwears.

Come vi ho spiegato quando abbiamo conosciuto il finish textured, ogni casa li chiama a modo proprio: sabbiati, sugar, pixie e così via.
Alla P2 hanno optato per l'effetto Cuoio, forse eprché non è così rugoso e cementoso come gli altri (China Glaze, anyone?), ma non è neppure liscio come i suoi colleghi.
È difficile stampare sopra ad un textured, ma non in questo caso. Mi piace questo smalto e credo piacerà anche a chi non ama molto il finish in questione.

Ma vediamolo più da vicino, questo Rock Steady (e Be-Bop dov'è?): è un bellissimo punto di rosa corallo con una formula scorrevole ed un pochino più fluida rispetto al normale (penso ai KIKO e ai Barry M) ed un pennello alla vecchia maniera. Il tutto in 10 ml di boccetta squadrata, che è una manosanta quando si passa alla questione foto. Ok, non credo l'abbiano studiata a questo scopo; tuttavia, si maneggia che è un piacere!

Asciuga meno velocemente dei colleghi sabbiati (ma più in fretta degli altri), ma dura quattro giorni pieni prima che appaiano le prime sbeccature.
