I know, I'm not a pink lover, because it's such a girly shade totally out of character. But sometimes we need to go out of character, just to have fun and find ourselves. Sometimes we need to think pink.
I realized this kind of sky. I've thought it could be a sunset panorama, but the clouds are white, not golden, pinkie or violet. Did I painted the sky we could see from Venus?

Non sono una fan del rosa. Lo trovo un colore troppo "da ragazza" e su di me non ce lo vedo poi molto. Però - perché c'è sempre un però - a volte capita di tirare fuori dal cassetto proprio quel colore. Perché in fondo ne abbiamo bisogno.
Pastrocchiando con il rosa, ho creato questo cielo. Che vorrebbe essere un cielo al tramonto (quando sembra che qualcuno abbia appiccato un incendio alla volta celeste, avete presente?), ma sicocme le nuvole sono immacolate - e non arancio e non viola e non rosse - temo di aver ricreato il cielo che si vedrebbe, non so, da Venere? Stai a vedere che sono salita sul razzo assieme a Joey Tempest...








I started painting my nails with two coats of Shake Matt White, a pure white matte polish I bought some months ago. It's perfect for nail art because it dries very very fast. Then, I cutted in two some piece of essence french manicure creative tip guides (angel wing design) and I pasted them over my nails. I sponged randomly using a piece of bath sponge whit China Glaze White Out - a white crème - and China Glaze Rose Among Thorns from 2008's summer collection INK. Then I removed the guide with a pair of tweezers and I applied top coat.
Ta-dan!!





Ho cominciato stendendo due mani di Shaka Matt White, un bianco gesso coprente in due passate (sì, di smalti bianco gesso non se ne hanno mai abbastanza, anche opachi!) e che asciuga in un battito di ciglia. Quindi ho diviso a metà le guide creative di essence per la french manicure con il disegno ad ali d'angelo, e le ho posizionate sulle unghie. Con un pezzo di una schiuma da bagno ho tamponato China Glaze White Out - un bianco gesso - e China Glaze Rose Among Thorns, un neon rosa corallo della collezione estiva del 2008, INK; ho rimosso le guide aiutandomi con un paio di pinzette ed ho steso il top coat.
