Mi-ny Cosmetics, an italian brand, is looking for ten official bloggers. We have to matching polishes and did I.
I have only three polishes (and a fourth, a top coat) because there are not mi-ny stores in my city, but my three little babies smash!
So I took my three metals (Omotesando, Rodeo Drive and Bond Street), a black nail polish and a dotting tool and I gone wild, once in a while.
It's all damn animalier's fault! It's so hot right now!

Sapate che mi-ny Cosmetics sta cercando dieci bloger ufficiali, vero? Tutto quello che dovete fare è scatenare la fantasia e mixare i colori tra di loro. Possiedo solo tre smalti mi-ny perché non ci sono negozio qui a Roma, ma i miei tre cuccioli spaccano di brutto!
Sicché ho preso i miei tre mi-ny (tre metallici, tanto per cambiare), uno smalto nero ed un dotting tool. E mi sono scatenata. Una volta ogni tanto si può fare, no?
E poi, l'animalier va un casino, quest'anno...

Sicché ho preso i miei tre mi-ny (tre metallici, tanto per cambiare), uno smalto nero ed un dotting tool. E mi sono scatenata. Una volta ogni tanto si può fare, no?
E poi, l'animalier va un casino, quest'anno...
I painted my nails with two coats of a black nail polish (Barry M Nail Paint #47 Black), and I mattified with a matte top coat (Basic Beauty). Then, I took my three colors Omotesando (metal gold), Rodeo Drive (metal sage green) and Bond Street (metal light blue) and a dotting tool and I simply drew some spots over my nails. Leopard's spots are easy to do, you just draw a single bow a little dot and then another bow to close the mark. I created a gradient pattern on my right hand and I mixed the colors on my left. Because it's a super easy patter to do, I done it also with non-dominant hand. And it worked!
I didn't use any top coat, because I wanted enjoy the contrast between the shiny shiny metals over a matte base.

Ho steso due mani di uno smalto nero (Barry M Nail Paint #47 Black) e l'ho reso opaco con un top coat satinante (Basic Beauty). Quindi ho preso i miei tre gioielli, Omotesando (oro), Rodeo Drive (verde salvia) e Bond Street (azzurro) ed un dotting tool ed ho disegnato alcune macchie sulle unghie. Le rosette del Leopardo sono facilisisme da riprodurre: disegnate un arco, un puntino ed un altro arco a chiudere la macchia. Una sorta di ellisse non chiusa, in pratica. Ho creato un effetto sfumato sulla mano destra e ho mischiato i colori sulla sinistra. Visto che è un disegno facilissimo, sono riuscita a farlo anche con la sinistra!
Non ho usato il top coat perché volevo godermi il contrasto tra la lucentezza dei metallici sulla base opaca.

I've already swatched Omotesando on my former blog, The Happy Beauty Case (and you could found my pics here). I easily say that the three nail polishes I have are on the same page of KIKO. The nice peculiarity of Omotesando, Rodeo Drive and Bond Street is the shiny effect they give to your nails. And they are quite a one coaters! I aways use two coats for build the color, but there's no need at all. And they dries very fast! I spent only ten minutes for the entire manicure! Cool, it isn't?
Vi ho già mostrato Omotesando sul mio vecchio blog, The Happy Beauty Case (le prove del fattaccio sono qui), e ribadisco la loro buona qualità, la stessa di KIKO per capirci. La bellezza di questi tre signorini sta nel fatto che sono lucidissimi e che coprono l'unghia quasi con una passata sola. Ne do sempre due per sicurezza e per amplificare il colore, ma spesso non ce n'è bisogno. E asciugano a vista d'occhio. Per tutta la manicure ho impiegato dieci minuti. Figo, vero?
I like them very much. If you are looking for a metallic shade for the incoming spring (and the summer. Do not forget the summer!), I recommend them.
Pro: all mi-ny nail polishes are 3-Free and cruelty free.
Con: few stores on the Peninsula. But there's a e-commerce store on their web-site. And the shipping rates are very cheap, on these days.

Mi piacciono davvero molto questi smalti. Se siete alla ricerca di un metallico per la primavera (e per l'estate! Non ve la siete scordata, vero?!), ve li raccomando.
Pro: tutti gli smalti mi-ny sono 3-Free e non testati sugli animali.
Contro: ci sono pochi negozi in Italia, ma si può acquistare direttamente sul sito, ed usufruire di alcune promozioni.
